Darci Frankel is an ordained minister in the State of Hawaii and an experienced wedding officiant who specializes in intimate, presence-centered ceremonies for couples who value meaning over production. After more than two decades of serving couples through Hanalei Day Spa, officiating weddings became a natural extension of the sacred space she has always held.

Darci officiates ceremonies for all spiritual paths and religious affiliations — interfaith couples, same-sex couples, vow renewals, and those who simply wish for a deeply personal moment without formal religion. Hand-fasting and custom rituals are warmly welcomed. Every ceremony is created specifically for you.

The Royal Wedding Experience

Our most elevated and indulgent offering. Your personalized ceremony, followed by the 110-minute Royal Beachside Couples Experience — traditional Hawaiian lomi lomi, warm coconut oil hair and scalp treatment, and full-body exfoliation, performed simultaneously for both of you, outdoors, with the Pacific as your backdrop.

Not getting married — but celebrating something worth honoring? Our beachside couples massage and retreat packages are available independently and are a favorite among honeymooners, anniversary travelers, and couples who simply want an extraordinary shared experience.

Pre-Wedding Counseling

Arrive clear and open

As a trained Getting Real Coach and Honesty Salon Facilitator, Darci also offers pre-wedding counseling sessions for couples seeking to deepen their communication, speak truth with kindness, and arrive at marriage with clarity and openness.

Sessions are $175 per hour and available in person or virtually.

Many couples also continue their celebration with a meal next door at Gaia Kauai.

Reservation Policy

Good to know before you book

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date
  • Remaining balance is due two months prior to your ceremony
  • For bookings within two months, full payment is required at booking

You are responsible for permits, location arrangements, photographer, seating, décor, and dining reservations.
